Single din radio install

Possibly Looking to upgrade my factory radio. I'd like a single din Bluetooth that plays CDs. But when looking at crutchfield several single dins that play CDs say the fitment has to be modified. What do you exactly have to do to make one work. I do not want to trim or cut anything on my Camaro since it is almost 100 factory. I also DO NOT want one that sticks out from the mount. I want it to stick flush. Any input would be appreciated.

I was having the same problem until I found a guy that prints 3D double din face plates. (flowstateman.etsy.com) I got one in the mail last week and the fit is outstanding. I did need to remove some of the ABS material behind the stock radio once it was removed. Currently I'm working on securing the radio in the slot. I have a double din sleeve, but I don't believe the sleeve will fit but I will figure something out. I may buy another face plate to see if it can be sanded and painted. In the pictures I didnt snap on the framing face plate, this effort was to simply see if I could fit the double din in the car! Very happy!!!

All you need is a 1.5 din to 1 din dash kit. I like the flush fit Scosch GM1500B over the ones with the protruding "nose".
