I have a 1984 Trans AM with a cassette player. Does anyone have the cassette that came with the car & would be willing ell to me? It would be dated 1983 copyright.

I don't think the cassette works but it has the AUX Jack for a MP3 Player or iphone
You mean an actual cassette tape? I've owned three brand new 3rdgens, and I don't recall there ever being a cassette tape that came with all of the documentation. However, in this thread in the History forum, if you scroll down to post #13, there's a cassette tape! Is that what you're asking about? What came from the dealer? - Third Generation F-Body Message Boards

That is the cassette tape that I am talking about. Only for the 1984 which I am interested in.
I've never had a cassette tape like that with any of my cars, including the Firebird bought new in 1990. But when I was a kid, they'd sometimes come with my Dad's cars, at least once in 8 track format. It would be a description of the features of your new car. Not unusual. When I had a 2014 Jeep, it came with a CD describing everything, although that was more of an interactive thing and not just an audio presentation.
Car companies used to do some odd promotional stuff.
With a least one Cadillac, it came with an 8-track featuring symphonic music, including a Cadillac theme song. which I could still hum part of. The Cadillac theme was actually a good piece of music.
And my parents had this vinyl record, which I remembered the name of. It was a promotional record from Ford with the title "The Going Thing." Found an image. I remember seeing this record in their collection, but never heard it. I bet these are some swingin' cats! They never bought a Ford in my lifetime, but must have done a test drive.
Here's the Cadillac theme. Okay, maybe not a great piece of of music, but it does include, without words, kind of a nice hook that clearly could be sung as "Cad il lac." My parents had this tape.
