For those of you with an Alpine deck...
I have an Alpine CDM-7857. The buttons and lights on it, can switch between being green and red. I personally have never gotten it to do this, but one of my friends was screwing around with my deck, and got it to switch. He has no clue how. How the hell do you do this? I lost the instruction manual after I installed it, and have tried seemingly every button and button combination that seemed logical. TIA
with the unit on, hold down the power button for a few seconds. This puts the unit in it's setup mode that you can go through the options and change them ( I think track +/- is to cycle through options, volume +/- is to change the options). One of the options is illumination.
