I have the 10" bazooka tube powered by a 300 watt USAcoustics amp, and it thumps pretty nice. Not the tightest bass available but a very good choice for our cars in terms of fitting perfectly in the rear well. I would recommend them unless you plan on building a box.

I have a 10" Fosgate powered by an Alpine. My head unit is a Kenwood, and I have to say it sounds pretty nice. Good base, and leaves space for my T's. Though, I am going to go for a box, I think it'll be better. So it is up to you if you want to go with this or wait. I would wait, cause after you will want to upgrade.

I dropped the stock sub, for an MTX Thunder 3000, and it rocks!! I got a cheap Power Acoustic amp that susposed to be 300 watts, and it sounds great, for what it is. Definately go for the Bazooka, but try to get a used one, (there alot cheaper) and dump the stock sub.

I put a powered 6 1/2 inch bazooka in an extended cab truck, and it really added to the sound, but didn't sound like I had another sub in there. It depends on your goal for the system. I personally think if you just wanted to compliment the sound of you stereo but not thunder down the road, then a powered 8 inch would be the way to go. If you want ground-pounding bass, go with a couple of 10's or 12's in a box custom made for your car.

Yeah, I really was just looking for something that would compliment what I already have (Kenwood deck and 4-way 6x9's, w/ stock dash speakers). I'm not a fan of bass that scares small children.

I just put in the 8" bazooka with the built in amp. doesnt really hit too hard, but seems to make up for the lack of bass produced by my rear 6x9s. in my opinion, it was worth the the limited $$$ i had at the time and atleast hold me over till i can get somethin real in there.

I've got a 300w 10 inch I bought used at Crap Converters two years ago, and I wouldn't have it any other way, honestly. It's light, hits pretty well for the price, ($160, CDN)and fills out my system just the way I like it.

Clarion 200w 6x9's
Bazooka 300w 10" tube.

You've go to tune the system just right so it deosn't soound like *** , though.

The bazooka RS 10" is what I have in the rear of my car(powered by a kenwood 150w amp). It sounds very nice. Adds nice deep bass to the stereo and it doesn't vibrate or take up a whole lot of room.
