I hear a lot about Infinity speakers, but I can't imagine they are ALL good. I can get a hold of some Infinity 6x9 coaxials, but I'm not sure what model they are. For any of you speaker guys: They have like a honeycomb-looking pattern on the cones. Are these speakers ank good? Worth $50?

Those sound like the older Reference line, they are good speakers but the new Reference speakers are alot better but cost more also. $50 does'nt sound too bad if they are new but I would put that $50 towards the new Reference series speakers or better yet the Infinity Kappa 6x9's.

 

Be warned: Infinity hasn't updated their Kappas in a while, so the NEW Reference series IMO seems to totally outperform them for the time being. I also think this makes them the best bang-for-the-buck.

I'm assuming infinity KNOWS this and will be coming out w/ a new Kappa line soon or something.

If i'm wrong or if there's a new Kappa line out, jus lemme know

These are good speakers. I scored a set pretty cheap too. This is a good buy on some pretty clean 6x9's. It would be worth your $50 anyways.
