Recommend Me 2x 10in Subs Setup

As the title says, I’m planning to use this box off of ebay https://ebay.us/m/bcfDyB. I’m wanting something that hits real hard but won’t cost me an arm and a leg! I don’t know much about what’s compatible with what amp ect, calling here for some help!

Re: Recommend Me 2x 10in Subs Setup

My buddy uses Skar Audio products in multiple vehicles/boats and has had really good experience with them and they sound great. I have their marine 6.5s and a sub amp in my pontoon and have been happy with them. Only reason I didn't use their sub was because I am using a old one I had laying around until it blows.

If you are really after budget build maybe hit up pawn shops. But then you really gotta know your stuff for matching things up. If you purchase all from say Skar you have less to worry about with compatibility/matching specs.

Skar is a brand most audiophiles wont touch.

I have been using this brand for a few years now and been happy https://deafbonce.com/

Something tells me someone wanting a budget audio setup isn't an "audiophile" and definitely isn't spending that kind of money on a high end deafbonce system to please some audiophile online.

B2 audio makes some really nice stuff. My brother had 1 15" sub which sounded wild with 5000 watts then he switched up to 2 18" Skar subs with 2500 watts to each and sound absolutely wild too

For a budget build try this: Pioneer TS-A25S4 and this Dual DA8001D.

These are entry level subs, but they don't have massive power requirements. With these two subs wired in parallel for a 2-ohm load, the little Dual amp will drive them well. These Dual amps are a hidden gem at Autozone. The amps are CEA-2006 compliant, so you know the power output is as advertised, unlike most of the cheap amps you find online.

I actually have the Dual amp linked and its 4-channel sibling in my third gen and they perform very well.

Also what kind of box were you planning on running??

Sealed boxes sound the best but also need the most power.

Ported boxes sound okay as long as they are tuned to the right frequency and they don't need as much power.

Band pass boxes are huge and don't need much at all for power to sound decent but again they're huge.

I had a big sealed box in the back hatch area years ago for two MTX thunder 8500 12's I had them kinda angled slightly towards each other and man oh man did they rip.

The enclosure you’ve suggested is sealed @ 1.8 cu ft.

Kicker 50CWCD104 is a good choice for that volume & had one of the highest outputs in a value priced 10”. DVC 4 ohm, so you can run both on a single amp, like a Kicker Key 500.1 with a built in DSP for easy tuning.
