The most advanced and comercially available right now is Sirius Satellite Radio http://www.siriusradio.com

Price is around $9.95/month for service

XMRadio is a competitor that has yet to launch all of it's satellites so it's not ready yet.

Sirius was a sponsor for Spring Break Nationals and they had all of their toys there. Everything seemed to be good quality and plenty of choices on music format kinda like what you get from a DSS system's radio stations with 100+ channels.

It's really worth it if you travel alot and want to keep tuned to the same stations all across the country.

Hope this helps a little

yea, I'm kind of interested. But paying 120 bucks a year just to get radio stations seems like an awful lot. You can buy a lot of Cd's for that money.

yellow 86 Camaro
LG4 700R4
Pioneer head unit
Kenwood speakers
Infinity Beta Digital 300 amp
2 Infinity Perfect 12s

Now KYB equipped!!

I'd wait a couple years and see what happens.

most people spend more then that on cd's
1cd=$12-$17, somtimes even $21-$27for a double cd.

i buy at least 10-15 a year.

It's available now and Kenwood is one of the first on the market with a satellite capable radio. Many other manufacturers are already following suit but I don't have a list handy.

They will be producing an aftermarket "box" that will plug into your factory radio to receive the broadcasts, but that's still a little ways out last I heard.
