**** I pushed in the middle of the cone! Any tricks to get em to pop out?
So I was removing the ****ty tint and I just put in my new sub box 2 days ago in the hatch and I wasnt paying attention to what I was doing and I had a towel over the subs so I didnt drip any water on them and I went and leaned on the subwoofer with my hand.. Theres no way to reach the middle of the cone from the other side, its not really that bad its just one spot the smallest touch would pop it out.. anyone have any idea's cuz it really looks like ****! thanks

If the shop vac doesn't work, you can get a straight sewing pin and bend it into an "L" shape. Then insert the point into the dust cap and use the bend in the pin to pull the dent out. I've done that a few times, and the hole left by the pin is not noticeable.

I've used duct tape with good results. Stick it real well in the indented area, then try pulling it up. It may take a few tries, and no matter what you do the dust cap isn't ever going to look totally right.

Well I tried the shop vac and it didnt work beacuse of the shape of the dent and the size of the hose but then I tried the duct tape and it worked pretty decently.. it pulled it out except now I got 3 small dents in the speaker which will not come out at all and the middle is really easy to push in (not like im going to push on it).. anyway its still better than having a huge dent in the middle of the speaker.. thanks guys

I dented the middle of my home rack system's cone... I was able to work it out very carefully with my thumbnail. A tip for using a pin- use clear nailpolish to seal the tiny hole left behind.
