2 ohm dvc

I saw that you can get the 2001 rockford hx2's with either duals 4 ohm or dual 2 ohm voice coils. (Pretty sure they were hx2's). What ohm loads on the amp could you pull off with 3 of the 2 ohm voice coil DVC's?

Wiring the coils in parallel would give each sub a net load of 4 Ohm. Then, wiring the subs in series would drop it down to 1 Ohm, or wiring the subs in parallel would bump it up to 12 Ohms.

Wiring the coils in parallel on three speakers would give each one 1 ohm, then wire the 3 in series and you'll have a 3 ohm load.

High Speed Run: 157mph

The actual ohm load on three DVC's wired in parallel is about 1.3 ohms... sony's new 3001 series amp is perfect for that kind of setup and has about 1000watts peak, only 450 bucks +/-...
