T-Tops and Box

Im considering getting a box from Jim85IROC's page for 2 10's

will this work with the t-top storage bag. I dont have the bag currently as my IROC isnt road ready yet. Also i have no clue how the t-tops are stored in a 85 thats why im asking.

T-tops on all thirdgens are usually stored on the flat space between the rear seats and the storage well area. If you install a box you have to make sure the loops at the back of the car are accessible, since that is where your T-top bag connects.

You should have two loops located on the gas tank hump just behind the rear seats. You should also have two loops in the very back of the hatch, one on either side of the hatch, about 3 or 4 inches into the well. If you have a T-top bag, just lay it flat where it is supposed to go and see where the straps with hooks are supposed to go...it should make sense.

They are bolted right to the chassis of the car. The interior panels have cutouts for them to stick through. If you put the interior from a non t-top car in, you would have had to remove them for the panels to fit.

I didnt cut anything on the new panels, or remove them - and the only thing thats bolted to the car sticking through the panels is the little bars the back seat hooks to.

Can someone just take a picture and post it ?? That would be much easier.

HIS BAG IS SHOWN CORRECT. I HAVE NEVER SEEN THE STRAPS ON THE BOTTOM OF THE BAG. POST A PIC OF THAT. MAYBE IT'S RARE OR A SERIOUS DEFECT.
