I have a question about a certain head unit. The DEH-P7200 (think thats it).
I have two entertainment options in that headunit, (dolphins, and ancient ruins) now, I know two more exist, kind of like visual EQ analyzers.... how do I access them?!?!??! Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

 

don't have any experience with that unit.. but I have found that most of the "hidden" feature on pioneer decks can be accessed if you hold down the F button for like 3 seconds.... try the two buttons to the right of the track skip buttons.. those usually hold the "key"..

Nope, ENT is for entertainment, but only the two regular screens, not the two I am trying to get.

I think your talking about the premier deck. deh-p720, I have the p730 and it has the screens you want to see. I dont think the regular deck has those options just the premiers. If it did tho you would access them by hitting ent.

 

I have the 8000R and i can scroll through both screen savers,teh eq and the plain screen using the ENT button..not sure whats up...We are now carrying the new DEH-6300 at Sears now for 329.99 and 299.99 on sale...wish i could have got an organic screen for that cheap two years ago...only bad thing is the dot matrix isnt as clear on the cheaper models but still very nice..expecially for Sears...Anyone on the NC area who wants one come see me =0)...Sears does internet price shopping too all you gotta do is add shipping...They are oblivious to the fact that a lot of online stuff is refurbished...mysimon has it for $230 adn i'm bout sure any sears wil price match it..i know we do =0)..Sears should pay me advertisment shares..

Futureim undecided about amps, im eyeing up the profile cl800's and maybe a profile for the front, and a pioneer cdx-p1270 1`2 disk cd changer

 

The DEHP-7200 only has 2 actual screensavers. The dolphins and the ancient ruins. It also has a choice of 3 normal screens to display information. One is the spinning cd/on air sign depending on if your on CD or Tuner. The other I think has no animation and just shows the cd title, length etc. And the third is like a half and half. They are accessed by hitting the DISP button while the dolphin/ruins are NOT activated.

The other screens you mention I think are a spectrum anaylser that shows the output range of the different scales of the music, and I think there is a city skyline and perhaps a 3rd. To my knowledge those only come on the higher end model the (9200).

The three screen savers are the new york city scene,outer space and a EQ..they come on the 8000R and up...The new 6300 has a voltage meter for left and right output i thought was real cool
