Flasher fuse keeps blowing and CD player keeps going out!!!

For about the last two weeks every five or so turns my flasher/turn signal fuse blows. I think there is something wrong within the wiring, does anyone know exactly where the problem might be?

Also I installed a new head unit about two days ago( a Sony xplode) and ONLY WHEN THE CAR IS STARTED the thing goes out and comes back on depending on how much gas I'm giving it. (The more gas the longer it stays on).

Do you think these problems are related? Maybe something with voltage regulation? Any help would be great!

Thanks,
Matt

im not sure if the signals and radio are on the same circuit in the fuse panel, but if the problem with the signals happened BEFORE you installed the radio, i'd check for voltage drops at the alternator. check the battery connections too, a loose ground can cause all sorts of havock (sp?) good luck.

Well I found the problem with the radio. Somehow a loose antenna caused the radio and CD player to fade on and off whenever I hit a bump or slowed down.

As for the directionals, I think the problem is a loose wire on the reverse light switch that was cut when my car was changed from a 5 speed to a Turbo 350. I can't find it anywhere, does anyone know what color it is?
