Brain-fart, Need help with DVC

So im considering geting a couple 12" L7 Kickers. they have a dual 4ohm and dual 2ohm models. i have a PPI amp im going to run at 400watts X 2 @2ohm. how can i achieve this? i know with single voice coil, each sub needs to be 4ohm and you run it in parallel. so im thinking i need the dual 2ohm model.

can anyone help out?

Series-wiring 2 2-ohm coils will provide the 4-ohm impedance you need for each sub.

Just for curiousity's sake, how do you wire subs in series as opposed to parallel? The only subs I've ever wired have been singles.

So you are going to run these subs in stereo or mono, is first question?

There going in mono, but my brain fart stopped. i rememberd how i have to wire it.

i have to wire the subs (2x2ohm) themselves in series, (to get 4ohm) then run them off the amp in parallel, bridged into 2ohm mono. i just had to remeber how to get each sub to run at 4ohm, which i checked out the Kicker square sub online manual and it showed exactly what i needed. thanks for the help tho.
