Install...loud and not pretty

"I heard you clearly a block away"

Heh, they dont let anyone into the school parking lot during lunch periods anymore because of me, 3 teachers complained to the principal b/c their whole classes stopped and looked out the window...
heh, just a funny story...

So its not the LOUDEST, but its hella loud...
My setup is in my sig...
Cost me close to $3400, and look how ugly it is, i know i got shafted a bit, but i didn't install it myself.
I was going to customize it with neons and plexi but i stopped caring so much about how it looks, its already loud as fu(k...
enough with the crap...here are the ugly pics (i suck at taking pics, so the ugly intall is made even worse, heh)

btw, yes, those are the old Xtant subs, pre-MTX... The new ones weren't out when i got it in march, but since they have a THREE year warranty i should be getting the new ones soon... (i've already gone through 6)

$3400 seems a bit steep (not for the equipment.). That's a $1000 subwoofer amp alone. How did the labor break down? $2900-2700 for parts and the rest labor?

Seems like the salesmen pushed high end amps at the expense of speakers in the right location. Personally, the stuff you got is very nice (although if I'm buying new gear, I would have thought that two amps from the same manufacturer would have been suggested). Subwoofers are nice as well.

The only thing I would really change (and look into this if you can) is your front stage. You need a bigger driver, either in the door or in a kickpanel. Dash speakers aren't going to cut it (especially with close to 1000 watts going to your subwoofers).

Are your subs mounted in a box or a baffle board?
