HELP!!! For anyone that has a jvc lx-1......

Hey guys, thanks for looking! I need to find out how to set the time and set the fm stations. I can't figure it out and I don't have the manual! The unit was given to me from a friend. Please help!

I have the KD-LX10. To set the time you have to hold down the 'Select' button for 3+ seconds. Then use your tune controls to scroll through all the options. Then find the time and use the volume control to set the actual time. I think you set the hour and minutes seperatley.

The stations are set by holding the button that you want the head unit to remember it on. EX. If you like 101.1, then tune it in, hold the #1 for 3+ sec. and it will store that into memory.

If you have the same unit that I do, then you will see a whole lot of features. It may be confussing at first. Like, did you know that you can name the stations with letters? Or a CD? Or even a song on a CD? And that it has speed controlled volume? Or that you can change the display graphics?

I went to the JVC web site and down loaded the owners manual.

Good luck,
AJ

Whoa, I can see what time it is now!! You are the man! Thanks a lot! I don't think I have the same one you have. Your's I think is more upgraded than mine. Mine was the very first one they came out with. And it doesn't even have a remote! How did you download a manual for your unit? I need to do that so I can find out some stuff about my unit. So once again, thank you very much. Eric

The header will have a list of units. Just pick the KD-LX1J and it'll give you what you need. That's the only LX model number listed.
