hey fellas got a sub box question...please look help if you can

hey fellas got a sub box question...please look help if you can

is it better to have the sub box angled slightly or straight up.

depends on what your aiming it at. If your aiming it at your hatch window, aim it on a angle that will direct the bass to you. Simple geometry. Whatever sounds the loudest ... then thats it. j/k. Gotta know what type of box you have and where its located.

Geometry doesn't do a whole lot when you're dealing with 20+ ft sound waves in a 10ft interior. Generally the more toward the back the subs are facing, the more additional output you get, but the difference is not dramatic. I would get whatever style box you like best and don't worry about it. You'll only be looking at a 1 or 2 dB difference at the most.
