Unlocking Delco radio

Car: 99 F350 Dually 97 Chevy Venture 97 Honda Accord 89 Mercedes Benz 190 1987 TRANS AM GTA
Engine: Brand new 350 Crate motor
Transmission: Beefed up 700R4
Unlocking Delco radio
I removed the factory radio from my 87 GTA and put it in my 89 Blazer. When I powered it up the LOC appeared. How do you unlock this. The book say hold the mute on the steering wheel for ten seconds, but I don't have this on the Blazer. Anyone know how?

You have to hold one of the buttons down for 10 sec. I believe it is the mute button on the steering wheel. I haven't had to do it in quite some time so I am not shure about the correct button.

Im having the same problem. I have a 2000 factory GM CD radio. Loc appears on the LCD. The book says to hold the Min. button down for 10 sec & then press the Min button to scroll to the "correct" last 2 digits of the pass code. To scroll the first digit U have to press the Hour button. U must know the pass word for this to work. If U have to go to the dealer can u please let me know what the procedure is that the dealer uses to unlock the radio. :hail:
