converting to carb

there's a 87 iroc for sale in my price range with a TPI 5.7, only thing is the guy sold the intake. so if i wanted to convert it to a carb what would i need, what are the disadvantages, how long will it take, and the big question, how much will it cost?

if this has been answered before please post a link to it because i can't find it.
