Am I forgetting anything???

I'm going to so the classic TBI to carb swap, here's what I know I need to change:

Intake
Carburator to replace TBI
Distributor
fuel pump
add pressure regulator
new fuel lines

Anything else I should know about doing this swap? What about the gagues, they arn't computer controlled ar they? If so, what can I do to make them all work correctly??

One thing you do not need on your list is the fuelpump, thats the reason for the regulator so you can use your tbi fuel pump reduce the pressure so it wont blow the needle and seat out. Everthing else sounds ok.
Depending on year the guages could swing either way, speedo and transmition lockup vatts stuff like that are things you may have to worry about.
Good luck.

Remember your lock up converter will not lock up anymore. There is a kit to fix this problem. You could also go with a non lockup converter like I did.

10.5:1compression 186 casting Heads,234dur.488lift exh&int,Edelbrock performer intake, Holley750 vac.sec 400 crank, flat top pistons, edelbrock valve springs and lifters, tranny shift kit,2500 stall converter. Will install 3.73's later on and might go with a more aggresive cam.As of 4/01 added Hooker Headers,2.5inchpipes with 40 s. Flowmasters.Ignition upgrade include: MSD Coil and MSD module.

get the right intake, cause i recently did the same swap and beleive me,alongating the four center bolt holes is a pain in the bottom.I heard people saying that they used a Dremel to do this,They must of had the Dremel from He!!..Cause I spent hours on one bolthole and didn't get very far...

Oh, the car is a 1992 RS Camaro. Can't believe I forgot to put that in.

Anyway, the converter isn't a problem, the tranny is a 5 speed manual.

I have to change the fuel pump because the stock one won't feed the new engine, which is bigger then a 350 and makes more power then some big blocks, so the stock pump is outta there.

Thanks for the input everyone!

Also, what problems can I expect with the VATS and what can I do to fix it? An in 1992, will the gagues be computer controlled??

Thanks again!!

92's too new for me But i think the guages are electronic. You might have to leave the computer in You just have to ground the grey and white wire to shut the check engine light off. But anyway the stock fuel pump will supply plenty of fuel even for a BBC.
The reason that people change the injectors and fuel pump in a 305 to 350 swap is the 305 injectors are to small for 350cu+ engine and when you change the smaller injectors to larger injectors you need more pressure for the injectors to pop open.
When you convert to a carb 6 PSImax is all that you need to operate a healthy engine. High fuel pressure is not an issue so your wasteing your money by purchaseing a lager pump which you are going to have to regulate down to 6 psi anyway. Just tryng to save you some time and money.
