rpm too much for 305?

i got an edlebrock rpm intake manifold really cheap. will it be too much for a 305 or is it right for making even more power?

The RPM isn't too much for anything. Go for it.

ok your on, that cam will be pretty healthy, but dont forget your 305 can spin the high side of 7,000 RPM's no problem it ran fine and very streetable in my ride. also look above i changed it and put in a few more things i have, i also have a pair if 245 60 15 BFG radial t/a's 400 rods and pistons, and a few other misc things i got to look for.

7,000 RPM's in a 305? Was it a stock bottom end? I'm always hoping that it doesn't fly apart when I get mine up to 6,000 lol

Please don't take a stock bottom end (any bottom end) to 7000. 6000 is really an upper limit with stock heavy pistons and weak stock rod bolts. It may do it, but it won't do it for very long.

This board is not for trying to offload junk to those who might not know better. Thats what Ebay is for. Don't post crap like that here again.
