the Aftermath of the carb...
Ok, I put the carburetor back on to the engine, and fixed the gas line glitch. But now there is a differen't problem. I can start the car up, the "choke" (i think its the choke) wants to stay open forever. and then when i try to let it idle the carb will make a hissing sound to push up rpm's, a lil gas shoots out the primary's and then dies and sometimes catches on fire, then i just walk around to the engine and blow the fire out.
Since I do not fully know what I am talking about I am posting a pic of what part im talking about.
the yellow area is what doesn't want to close ever unless I push on it... I just need someone to tell me what to do to fix this peace.
rofl thanks again for all the help guys.

Everyone keep telling me that , when choke is on, it's 3/4 close, when choke is off (like normal operation temp) should be full open...
If the choke is off when you start it cold(happen to my car sometimes) it idle so rough, like i got misfire, vibrate a lot, get better when hoter or give throttle)
I'm a newbie about carb but still... trying to help out with what i know (hope i'm right tough)
how's the idle?(rpm stable,low,high) when you rev?
