See the sticky at the top of this forum. It has a link titled "Tuning for Performance with your Computer-Controlled Quadrajet". Most of the info applies to both CC and non-CC q-jets.

"CC" = "computer controlled".

DR rods & B hanger is a pretty good starting place.

The "CC" in "CC rods" is not an acronym, just an identification. In other words, it reads "CC rods" and not "Computer Controlled rods". It's to differentiate them from "CK rods," "DR rods," or "CH rods" using two letters instead of a name or a number. Is that what had you confused?

Also you'll sometimes see CCC (Computer Command Control) in place of CC when referring to the carburetor or computer system in your car and it's the same thing.

The difference between them is the dimensions at certain points of the rods that give a different a/f ratio at different air valve openings. CC's work very well with my setup.
