I keep getting a full oilpan of gas ..
I replaced my edelbrock 1406 Carb with a new one and i also added a new Fuel Pump..
the result was ...still a full oilpan of gas...

A carb that is running way to rich can certainly contribute to that, but if you have bad rings in one or more cylinders gas from anything will blow by.
Run a compression check, see how it comes up.

Fuel in Oil Pan
Sounds like your'e pumping more fuel into the cylinders then the engine can burn, with the result being nonburned fuel running down the cylinder walls past the rings. This is usually due to a carb/engine mismatch. Is that carb you installed the correct (size) carb for the engine? If it is, did you modify it at all to make it pump more fuel into the engine?
It could be your rings, but if you had bad rings it would have shown up as other problems prior to replacing your carb. More than likely you would have been blowing oil real bad, which would have shown up as blueish smoke out the exhaust (at all times - not just on startup). Also, you would have had extremely poor engine performance.

BobR,
What are your float levels set at. I wonder if you have a needle seat valve issue. When you turn the car off the floats should close the valve and not let fuel into the carb. Maybe yours is staying open and with the residual pressure in the fuel line Its pushing the fuel in the carb and into the motor.
