Help me get the cc q-jet to work w/ cam

If possible....I'm confused after night after night of searching. Talk of IAC's, IAB's, M/c solenoid, and mixture screws. Here's the deal. I'm running very lean after installing my 268high energy Comp cam. My plugs are very white except on the side as electrode(dark path). Headers glow trying to break in cam. How do I go about getting the right a/f mixture out of the cc Q-jet. Can I richen the overall mixture somehow? I think the m/c solenoid is working fine due to the clicking sounds. I installed a new o2 sensor...still the same. I know I'll have other tuning issues to get a good response out of it, but right now I'd like to eliminate the lean condition. What I'm confused about is....1) will I have to adjust rich stops to allow more fuel to be added ... 2)or lean stops....3) If I turn the IAB screw in the tower ,will I richen the overall mixture. ....Any help out there would be great, thanks

Before you do anything else, check the fuel pressure under load, if it goes too low, replace with a good electric pump.
