Building a 383....need some advice on carb/intake....

Im building a new 383 for my RS and need some advice on a carb/intake setup. Heres the lowdown on the motor...

.030 4bolt 350 block
Eagle 383 rotating assembly
Dart Iron Eagle 220cc runner (2.05/1.60 valves)
Comp XR276HR-10

Im thinking about the Edelbrock RPM air gap or Torquer II intake....but not sure about the carb. What would work well with my setup?? Its pretty much going to be a weekend toy....maybe an occasional strip pass, but otherwise a cruiser......thanks in advance.

OH I would suggest a Victor Jr port matched to your heads and
BG demon 750cfm carb with mechanical secondaries.

I'm running a 383 stroker with the rpm air gap and holley street avenger 770cmf and love it. The cars a gas hog but I only drive her on the weekends so no big deal!

I was thinking of a Holley DP but wasnt sure how well it would work with the big intake runner of the Iron Eagles.... SHould I go with a single plane since Ill already be making big lower end torque?? My exhaust is the Hooker LT's with the 3in Mufflex Ypipe into a 3.5in Ipipe and Flowmaster Force II muffler. I should get the block back from machining in a few hours...then Im going to assemble it this week. My friend mentioned that I could use maybe a Edelbrock AVS series carb for street use...and get a Holley DP for track duties....or just to haul ***. I can get a rebuilt Holley 750DP for a reasonable trade from a fellow worker.....just not sure what route to go on the intake yet. Thanks for all the suggestions so far.

ps. what kind of numbers "might" I expect with a Holley DP and Victor Jr intake????? or something else similar......

if you can get the holley on a trade id go for it....

i would gofor a Vic Jr intake too... but i think thats only because ive liked it on mine..

ive put torkerII intakes on a couple 305s in the past... they are good street intakes, but they seem kinda small.. esp when you look at your intake size.....

Well got the Holley 750 DP after work today....looks brand new. I got some extra jets and stuff for it....I think there's even a 1.5in spacer for it too. I also went ahead and ordered the RPM air gap intake for now....figured I could try it and if I didnt like it, I could sell it in favor of the Victor Jr. Ill post some pics of my engine/car when all is finished......
