Best manifold for high rpms

What's good for like an idle-7000 range, or 2000-7500 range?

hard to find something with that kind of range, a motor with that kind of power range would be, uh, hard to find.
but if you really want to go to 7000 go with a Victor Jr.

I run Wieands Team G on mine..I think it's a great manifold. If not that one, you'll want something similar.

EDIT: whao wait a minute..this isn't for the motor in your sig is it?

The manifold will never go on my 305. It's goingt to be for a 350 or 302 depending on what i build.

In order to not take up more listing space I'll ask this question here. For the factory dual snorkel air cleaner, what are the dimensions of it? Would you be able to fit a 14X3 element in there? Would it be possible to put an X-treme flow on top of it all to allow more flow in? Will the camaro one fit a firebird?

You'll need a truck lid and then you can run K&N #1500. That's the only way to go. But be careful because it does add a little height.

Mine fit under my stock hood with the stock TBI, intake and what-not, but with an aftermarket intake..... it might not.

I got my chrome lid from Jeg's (well actually I got mine from Spohn... but you can get it from Jeg's)

You can put on the K&N top, but it won't do any good with a stock hood. It will be too close to the hood to reep the benefits.

My vote would go to a Victor Jr.

wait.. you are asking for a manifold that will support 7000 rpm and in the same thread you ask about using your stock aircleaner?

I have a 14X3 extreme assembly on there now, but I would like to make a cold air setup when I put everything else togethor. That's why I was asking about the dual setup. If I use a single plane will it affect my low rpm power by that much?

This is a great flowing intake designed by the late John Lingenfelter sold by Accel. You will need a non-stock hood though.

I don't want anything to do with fuel injection.

Then you just bolt a carburetor on it.

What would you do with the injector provisions and fuel rails?

You can order it without the rails. Holes can be plugged with grommets or epoxy.

dude...thats just a vic or super vic with rails. Not a bad manifold, but it costs several times what the exact same manifold without does.

New rule in this section; No reading a lingenfelter book and then spouting off crap out of it like you actually understood what you read or know what you're talking about.

Lots of combos can go up to 7000 rpms. Just depends on how much you want to spend and how much flow you want on the carbs. My vote would be for a Victor Jr with a Speed Demon carb. Unless you're gonna run a big cam or forced induction then maybe a Mighty Demon (Extra tuning features).
