Hay dumbass why didnt ya just ask me you helped me do that to my old camaro. Your fuel pump is fine you just need a fpr. Holley has one for like 20 bucks.

Don't use an AFPR that regulates by dead-heading the pump. 3-port types with return typically run a lot more than 20 bucks.

i didnt find it too difficult to change from tbi to carb. you will need a few new parts though, including carb, manifold, fpr (3 port type like everyone says, mine was $80), and distributor. besides that, i kept my wiring harness hooked up so that my alt and fuel pump worked. you will have to adapt the 2-wire harness to the distributor (so that your new one works). i also have noticed that you need to turn the dist. a bit if you have the in cap type because you wont have enough clearance behind it. but besides that, ive been running a carb for about a year now with little to no problems (any of them being my fault of course
). but give yourself a weekend so you have enough time to work and run to the parts store. and also read the tech article.

if you dont deal with it (either with a $200 ish hypertech part or a custom fabbed switch or a neat vaccuum operated no user intervention setup) then youll kick your own *** for wondering where your gas mileage went
cant find the hypertech TCC lockup (i think it mighta been posted on here)
but i found this which i think i like better: http://www.northernautoparts.com/Pro...ctModelId=5992

Rig a lockup setup for your TH700R4 and properly tune your carb. If you have selected a carb suited to your engine (ie no 1050cfm dominator) like a 600cfm Holley DP or VS then you may actually gain mileage.
