hmm, no vacum...and runnin...

I donno, we just plugged he carb and hte intake, and its runnin without any vac t the carb...how does it do it, doenst it need vac to run...

I think is what he is trying to say is:

He plugged all the vacuum ports on the carb as well as the manifold. The distributor ran without any vacuum advance hooked up.

Yes, it will run. Just not very well. Perhaps unplugging all the vacuum accessories is the influence of alchohol showing through.

Yeah, few six packs were in play when i was workin on the motor, but yeah, the distrubuto is bulit with no vac advance in it and i have a MSD6AL box and the dist has a built in coil and we ran no vac to the carb and no vac to the intake, only for the brakes t teh master cylinder...and it runs like a dream....ha..wetf...

That setup won't cost you power, but it will cost you fuel economy.

so what should i do, i have a vac port i plugged on the intake right at the back of the carb, where should i run that to the carb to i can increrase some economy, cuz in NY, i do need some help on that ...thanx...

You don't run vacuum "to" the carb, the vacuum ports on the carb and intake are sources of vacuum.

Nowhere. You cap them off at the carb.
