Need carb help quick! Please!
I need help guys, okay I just put a new intake on a friends vette.
And before we took the carb off the intake I seen the 2ndery flaps were very easy to fly open.
Now when I put the carb back on the intake I hit it with my rachet handle. right there on that wire that holds the regular 2 barr.'s closed.
What did I just screw up and can I fix it?
It's just an old Q-jet 4 barr. carb. On a L-82 vette....
Help me...please..im lost, don't know much about carbs.

What part exactly are we talking about? Technically, there isn't any "wire that holds the regular 2 barr.'s closed." I suspect you're talking about the choke pull-off link (vacuum break), in which case it would seem simple enough to straighten it back out again.
