carb gasket

carb gasket

i have a carb spacer on my car it came with a very thin gasket i want to rebuild my carb but can't find one of these gaskets is it ok to use the engine seal gasket material and make my own thanks in advance

There are vacuum passages in the base of the carb that will get plugged if you use gasket maker. Any parts store should be have the gasket. Try a Mr. Gasket 56 or 56A.

the local parts stores don't have it i don't want to use the silicone gasket stuff what i am talking about is the stuff that comes in a roll you but the old gasket on it trace and cut out will this stuff work
