I use a can of carb cleaner to spray around.

What carb is this? What intake and what gaskets?

Try tightening it up first.

grrr... im stupid... it was the seal between the intake manifold and the adapter. i guess it slipped when i was tightning everything up... all fixed now...

o by the way i made my own stethascope it worked way better than the spray and pray method. all i did was take a 2 foot section of 3/8 hose, put an ear plug in one ear and the other ear to the hose... i would recommend this method!

That's pretty much the famous heater hose in the ear trick.

I love that trick. Also works well for tracking down interesting smells, but then you dont stick it in your ear...
