holley tuning problems
This is a continuation from my last thread "chickenman holley tuning problems". I took five7kids advice and took off chickeman's name to get more responses. All the changes I've made so far are in my last thread. I also checked out my distibutor and ignition system for problems and the only thing that is odd is my distributor wieghts and cam. A pic is attached of what they look like. I did a search and found that vader posted a pic of his and mine look backwards
I'm about to check out and see if my mechanical advance is coming in fully or not. Still need to change out my squirter nozzle size, haven't gotten to that yet. Thanks again to everyone that was helping me out in my last thread

Just checked it out looks like my mechanical advance is weak. It upped the advance but only like 10 degrees. Not sure whats up with that, do they sell better wieght and cam kits?
Answered my own question on this one, found a mr. gasket advance kit from jegs. Costs like 8 bucks so I got it and some new msd 8.5mm wires because I have some junk accel ones. Heard from more than one person that they had a difference when changing from accel to msd.

Changed my shooters to 31's and didn't see any difference between the the 31's and 35's. The only thing I noticed was that the car used to atleast squeal the tires a bit but now it does nothing. I think my car is a tird.... still think it should be a bit faster with everything but I guess that the cam has been killing it all along. Still not sure about the sputter during acceleration, I'm starting to think that it does it because its cold. Maybe if I mess with the choke some more it'll go away.
