I made mine but I should have made a bump out for the air cleaner. now I have to decide if I want to make a new one or just get a new air cleaner.

Just a heads up: If you buy one of those Edelbrock 3-point strut tower braces to put on an LG4/L69, you'll need to relocate your AC compressor to the passenger side (as shown in the picture above) for the brace to clear. If you don't, it's going to run into clearance problems with the compressor and will not install correctly.

I've been waiting on Spohn (or another manufacturer) for several years to fab one of these up. Got to be a ton of people who'd purchase them.

Will the Edelbrock 3-point fit with an LS1??? If not which ones will? I assume there is more room than with the TPI...

Edit..sorry...I did a search for STB and didnt realize it was posted in the carb forum until I came back to check it... Ignore my question Ill keep lookin!

Sorry about the delay. Here ya go. I took an Edelbrock STB for TBI and cut the welds where the cowl and strut tower bars meet. I then flipped the strut tower bar over and rewelded it to the cowl support bars. The STB now juts up from the strut towers instead of down. Some vehicles have enough hood clearance to add spacers under the strut tower brackets so you do not have to flip the strut tower bar over but this really depends on the vehicle. You will also need to remove the bar bracing the upper A/C bracket to the intake manifold. The upper A/C bracket can then be notched for STB clearance. That's it.

does the STB only fit with stock manifolds, or with aftermarkets, too? because of the higher waterneck.
