If you can help...i'll be SO grateful

I have a 91 RS...it came with a 305 TBI init....when i got the car,a 350 with a TBI was in it.We have put a Edlebrock carb on it ...As i read on here i see where i need to pull the gas tank off and all this.....so i'm wondering if finding me a 3rd gen that was carbbed from the factory is worth getting and putting my 350 over in it. We dont have NOWHERE near the expertise ya'll have,so if anyone can help me i would greatly appreciate it . I'm gettin to the point of just letting it sit there and rot.

You don't have to drop the tank unless you don't use the in-tank electric pump. If you don't use the in-tank electric pump, check the sticky at the top of this forum on modifying the pick-up for use with an engine-mounted mechanical pump or in-line electric.

To use the in-tank electric pump with a carb, you need a return-style regulator such as the Mallory 4309. The electric pump needs constant flow, so using a less expensive dead-heading regulator is a bad idea. You can use the original fuel lines to the engine compartment for the carb/regulator system, including the return line. You can even use the in-tank electric as a pusher pump up to the engine-mounted mechanical as long as there is a return provided.

Getting another car to put the engine into sounds like a lot more work than either of the solutions above.
