I am converting a Weiland to EFI (yeah, boo, hiss, jeer.)
Anyways, any of you guys running this intake and have clearance problems with the hood?

Weiand makes alot of different intakes... Weiland however, is the name of a rocker who plays with former Guns N Roses members Slash and Duff. I saw them, great show!
I don't think he has alot to do with your intake and probably doesn't care if you convert to EFI.
Now... which intake specifically are you planning to use, whats the part number? What engine is it going onto? Whats the rest of the motor combo? We can probably be more help than Scott Weiland would be.

Good ole Scott Weiland. Formerly of Stone Temple Pilots. Thrown out of the band for drug use, seen the inside of the Betty Ford center more than Betty Ford has. A solo album which tanked, then created Velvet Revolver with Slash and other members to former Gun's N Roses.....
Its a cheapo. WND-7546 is the summit number.
Its a L98 with AFR 195's CNC ported on it. XE276HR for the cam. Desired powerband is 3000-6500. AFR suggested that cam for my setup, I agree because its what I was thinking of running anyways.
The only question is, Am I going to have hood clearance problems? I KNOW someone has to be running one of these intakes. Really, carb and the FI throttle body are similar, so it should be enough to give me a idea of what I might need to do.

Looks like it should fit pretty nicely with the rest of the combo. What kind of EFI are we talking about here? Any specific system in mind?
