What should I clean/replace?

I have a holley 650 dual feed thats been out of action on the shelf for about 3 years now. I plan to put it on my newly rebuilt 350 in the next couple of weeks when its ready, what should I replace before using it?

All of the soft stuff, if it wasn't properly stored. Gaskets, seals, diaphragms, etc.

Right; you should replace EVERYTHING.

Get a "rebuild kit" and a gallon of lacquer thinner, and follow the instructions. I suggest soaking the new gaskets with silcone spray a couple of times, to keep them from sticking.

If that was not done to the old gaskets, then they will be an INCREDIBLE PITA to remove. Be patient, and DO NOT scratch or otherwise damage the carb casting. You will be creating fuel leaks by doing so.

The part # for the kit you need can be found in the Holley carb listing. Get your list #, which is on the choke tower facing the front on the driver's side of the carb.

hey power, i just recently rebuilt a 650 holley, and was curious if you know how many throttle plate/main body screws came stock with these units? Mine only has 6, but seems to have holes for 8...

6 is right... two of those holes don't have screws, they aren't even threaded.

Right. Those other 2 are the vacuum ports to the power valves.
