Carter AFB Stumbling when turning

I have a Carter AFB 750 (Same as an Edlebrock) with electric choke and it has recently been rebuilt. Well before and after rebuild, if you would come around a sharp corner or stop quickly, it would stumble for a moment and then come back to idle. If you give it a little throttle it dosn't do it near as bad but if you are idling it does it to the point that it almost dies. I set the floats when i rebuilt it to 7/16 as the guide says. Well then i thought they might be to low so i set them to 3/8 and now it still does it if not a little worse. Do yall think that they are set to high, or know of a solution to my problem.

Try setting them lower.
