Re: Baseline 383 Jetting ?
i'll just throw a number out there.. 80/81 with NO powervalve, 74/81 with PV..
i run an annular 750 demon with a PV up front so my jets are 70/79.. 385, 10.65:1, 306S cam(260/260, .592/.555), crap 200 heads, shiftin at 6500.. i might try 72/79, possibly 72/81 eventually..

Re: Baseline 383 Jetting ?
whatever out of the box jetting is should be close. Get perfect jetting by using a wideband from a buddy.

Re: Baseline 383 Jetting ?
Do you have a secondary power valve? 99% of carbs out there don't... if you dont, you want about 8-10 jet sizes higher on the secondary side compared to the primary side (assuming the primary side has a power valve).

Re: Baseline 383 Jetting ?
Has a PV in the sec side ; unable to get metering block off to determine size.
The "non stick gaskets" don't work ,(Brand new , never had gas in it ) don't want to butcher carb trying to crack metering block loose.
This is a -2 model , the online info only covers the original and -1 versions which are listed as 65 PV on the primary only.Carbs with 2 PV's have the sizes listed.

non-stick gaskets are non-stick, you don't install them dry, spray them with WD-40 before puting the carb back together and they'll come apart then.
