Re: retaining VSS???

if its tpi i just found out you dont have the speed buffer box and you can forget it, however if its TBI you have the vehicle speed buffer box and you can wire it up from it, if its tpi you can order a speed buffer box and wire it like a tbi car to keep the vss option. you can view my wiring thread for wiring diagrams and troubleshooting if you have the tpi and have to wire it, the thread is called (wiring)

Re: retaining VSS???

How do you plan to lock your TCC? Normally, the PCM looks for the VSS signal to lock it.

Re: retaining VSS???

going with the TCC kit from bowtie overdrives.... i already have a BTO 700-r4, w/ a 3000 stall so it should be all good!!! and the BTO trannys already have the lock-up wiring installed.
so im safe once i get the kit
