Should I go with a double pumper?
Gettin ready to bolt up a T-5 behind my 383 and i was just wondering whether i should get rid of my 770 street avenger. i dont like the carb as it is because it feels like its not running right so i want to replace it anyway. just lookin for any thoughts or recommendations. the motor is 9.5 to 1 compression ad it made 405hp and 440tq to the crank

Your T5 isn't going to be very happy with you for hooking it to a 383, but it'll be happier that you're going to a double pumper.

Yea so ive heard haha. it wont be a stock T-5 by the time im done with it so hopefully she'll hold up. is a 750 dp too much carb though? my buddy might have one for cheap that i could rebuild and maybe put a quick adjustment metering block in for easy tuning.
