how can i increase gas mileage on 305 qjet?

do you have headers? what type of maintenance have you done in the last 12 months? what type of driver are you? what gears do you have? what engine oil are you running? when was the last time you rebuilt your carb?


BTW my best MPG on my formula was 13 mpg... worst 10mpg.. I am now planning my FI Conversion...

get a set of headers and free flowing exaust from there back (with a muffler of course). then get an open air element or duel snorkel.

i got 20+ on the highway when i had an lg4 with that set up. the 5speed probably helped too.
