Do you think i need a Choke?
I've lived in Missouri before and was born in Connecticut, but i never thought this would happen in Louisiana. It snowed last night and i woke up this morning to my Camaro looking like this:

- Yeah, chokes would be nice. I'm up in Canada-Land, and while it doesn't snow as much as some people may think, I'm not stranger to the stuff. I left my car in the open for five minutes the other day at school and you couldn't see the car at all. Let alone opening the doors and starting it. I actually had to crawl through the hatch this morning on my way to school because the doors were so solid against the body :P

i'm up here in montreal-canada and for our standards,,it has been a mild winter so far ,,i don't use my car in the winter ,,but my choke is very useful on those october and november mornings when it starts to get cold...i had a holley with no choke and it was always harder to start cold ,,installed an edelbrock 1405 with electic choke and it works like a charm...

Nah that's how my car looked this morning. No choke and don't miss it. My car fires faster than some newer cars I've worked on.

[quote=bduffey723;4783747]i remember those times. locked my keys in my car and the wire hanger had the open hatch button was prime target
First and only time that I locked my keys in the car, a friend and I pried up the bar between the T-Tops and got my girlfriend to reach under the glass and unlock it.

Re: Do you think i need a Choke?
i have no choke on my 86, more of a racecar than a DD, but a choke really would be nice sometimes. It can be a real bitch to start.
you would find it useful

I had a 1406 on my 355, it was electric choke and always started like a charm in the winter
but I sold it.
I found it on craigslist tonight, though XD
