I need the tv cable ball!

Where can I order the part where the tv cable attaches to the carb? I have a quadrajet and that part is missing, and I'd definitely like to have it. Does anyone know?

I was gonna tell you to fab one, or pull one off an old carb.

I did fab one but its only a temporary solution. And it looks as though that part is more of a rivet that doesn't come off on all the quadrajets I have.

Is it looks? Does it look cobbled?

Re: I need the tv cable ball!

Factory QJets the throttle and TV cable studs are swedged in place. They're a b1tch to get out and replace. I find it almost as easy to replace the whole throttle shaft (or just start with a carb that's got everything on it to begin with).

And a factory TV cable stud has a sorta flat "T" shaped head on it that the cable end snaps onto from the side.

Why not use a die grinder and a drill?
