i cant seem to find a adapter plate that does tbi to carb, so im wondering if there is a carb that bolts directly on to a tbi bolt pattern?

 

There are lots of adapters to put a TBI on a carb intake. Some 2 bbl carbs might fit a TBI intake, but it'd hardly be a performance application.

Even still, forget about a 2bbl carb. Change the intake and use a 4bbl.

 

Why exactly are you getting rid of the TBI if you're not looking for performance?

 

eliminate electronics, dont wanna spend 250 on an intake then another XXX$ on a carb so does anyone know of a carb that would bolt to tbi?

 

Try a Holley 2300 with a 17-47 adapter. The adapter is made for something that makes sense though, so you'll have to modify it for what you're trying to do.

If it works, then I hope a $300 carb with a $100 adapter fits your "need".

just go a get a stock 4bbl intake and Q-jet and distributor at the junkyard.
that would do what you want for cheap.

 

Apeiron is right as this adapter is designed to go the other way and would need to be modified to work the other way. This could easily add much more expense if you can not do it right the first time.
The TBI is a three bolt pattern where carbs are four bolts so there would be no chance that I know of to find a three bolt carb.

4.3s came with carbs too.

 

What do you have with a 4.3 .? S-10?

 

Seems to me that all the headaches of trying to frankenstien this set up is a lot harder to deal with than electronics that govern themselves.

what 4.3l came with a carb? mines from an 88 s10 i know that s10's gmc 1500's blazers astro vans... and a few others had 4.3's but none that i know of with a carb.
