It's a vacuum port on the front of the carb. Look straight on and you should see it.

It's a plug for the MCS lean adjustment hole.

Your picture is of a plug used for the adjusters that pass thru the top of the carb lid. they go in and hold the adjustment and seal the hole at the same time. Depending on the carb it self you could have up to 3 in the lid of the carb. Good Luck

Thanks man. Is it necessary to have all plugged? Or can I leave them uncapped?

Problem with having it plugged is, once you put it in there, you then have to disassemble the carb to get it out so you can tune the adjustment.
The factory designed it that way to prevent exactly what we here are usually doing: "tampering".
It'd be better to leave it out, and find something less permanent to put in there, like a rubber one or some such.
