4-barrel carb help
I have a 1983 camaro berlinetta that has a dropped in 350 v8 30 bore. It has a 4 barrel carb on it and only 2 barrels are working. There is tons of breather tube vents not hooked up, the one in the bottom is hooked up, one on the passenger side is hooked up. That leaves 3 in the front not hooked up and 2 on the right side not hooked up and.1 on the left not hooked up and the one in the back blocked off.
Does anyone have suggestions? Or know how to finish hooking it up?

Not sure hat kind of carb, it has a edelbrock filter but I see no marking saying its a edelbrock carb.
With the filter off when you are looking at the carb the back 2 flaps don't open when you step on the gas or rev the engine and compared to other 350 motors you can feel a difference in power

Re: 4-barrel carb help
They won't open until the engine actually needs the extra air. It's perfectly normal for them not to open when revving the motor.
They may, however, still need adjustment to work correctly. There's a tech article here on adjusting the AV (Air Valve) tension.

They don't open at all but if you switch the breather hoses around they open a bit
How do you figure out what hoses hook up where? Just thinking the people I got it from might not have finished hooking it up

Re: 4-barrel carb help
It would definitely help if you/we knew what kind of carburetor your working on.
Snap a pic and post up.

You can plug essentially all ports, hook up your pcv, and your brake booster, your not going to see the rear flaps open. Go drive the car, when you mash it you will the secondaries open, qjet's are loud when the secondaries open.
