Fuel return line question.

Hey folks. I'm installing a 350 in place of a 305 in an 83 Camaro. The car of course has a fuel return line but the fuel pump that came on the 350 only has in and out lines. Can I just plug the return line without causing a headache or should I shell out for a correct pump? Also, all of the EVAP junk is leaving the building lol. Can I plug the line coming from the tank? If I can will I have to use a vented gas cap?
Thanks for any help, Wally.

Upon further research, I see that the electric pump supplies from 9 to13 psi on some Camaro's. Is it the same pressure from the electric pumps that feed the mechanical pump or are they a lower pressure? Since this 350 is carbureted then the carb will likely flood with the higher pressure electric pump. Can I remove the tank pump and put an extension on the sending unit and just use the mechanical pump or do I need a separate regulator with a return line?
Thank you, Wally

Re: Fuel return line question.

Why not get the correct pump and use the factory system? Also the EVAP is fine reduce gas smells
