Fuel line too close to header on passenger side frame
I am installing some new headers on my engine and my header is too close to my fuel lines. I知 looking for suggestions on how to re-route them. Anyone have suggestions and pictures of how you have done them around that area? Here are a few pictures of what I知 dealing with.
Re: Fuel line too close to header on passenger side frame
Damn, that's really close. I ran my lines up the side of the trans tunnel and near the distributor base and then to my fuel rail. I know the trans tunnel is hot also but nowhere near as hot as my headers. I wrapped my fuel lines w insulation and my fuel tank temp stays 100-110 on hot days.
Re: Fuel line too close to header on passenger side frame
That is an option I will be looking at. I知 running a mechanical pump so I will have to route it towards the front right. The header pipes run in the stock location so I would have to cross over the exhaust if I moved it to the outside of the frame rail. Fun fun fun 👍🏻
