anybody know the cfm?

I need to know the cfm rate on a Q-jet #7043256. I don't know what the thing came off of originally. It was on a '83 LG4 when I got it. Any help would be appreciated VERY much.

That's a 73 model carb, came from some Chevrolet car, don't know offhand exactly what car. Like virtually all Q-jets, it is 750 CFM unless it has the "feature" of the limit or stop for the air valve's opening which I doubt because all Chevy 4-barrel motors were either 350s or 454s that year.

The OE # for your car's carb was 17083201 if you want to try to find the right one. However, the one you have now is not computer-controlled, and the right one would be.

Thanks, RB. Nobody I talked to could tell me for sure. 750 is good enough for know. Thanks again.
