MrDude_1 a no-no
I wouldn't if I were you! I sent him Money Order for parts - and I've waited 4 months, and very very patiently, and nothing but empty promises and ****-poor excuses. Steer clear of this one - he gets all info he can from the boards, and people go out of their way to get him what he wants, and he is everyone's best friend and very thankful, until you send him cash!
In my opinion, members that treat other members like this should be banned permanently!

I mailed him $105 money order back in February for a distributor, a distributor cap, a fuel pressure regulator, and several other small parts - hell it's been so damned long I don't remember what it was. I've emailed him, called him, PM'd him, and talked to him, like 3 times on the phone - he keeps promising to ship, and never does - always some poor excuse about working too much, can't ship until get next pay check, etc, so on. Hell, all my items would maybe cost $10 to ship - he's only 4 hours away from me.
And I've been very polite, and kind to him, and understanding about the whole matter. I've not pestered him every 20 minutes as I probably should (squeeky wheel gets the grease, right?) - in fact I've only emailed him like 4 times, PM'd him like 5 times ,and only ever called him 3 times. I've simply requested (over and over) that he either ship the parts, or refund the $105 - I don't care, just end the transaction in some fashion - and I keep getting crap instead.
And I agree - it's hard for me to believe as well, as I've bought from him in the past and had no problem. But, it's funny to me thast since February, he's had plenty of time to post many threads on TGO, had plenty of time to get copies of wiring diagrams from other members, and take them to Staples, get them printed into a binder, and digitally post them on a website for others - but he can't find $10 and 10 minutes to ship my stupid little box? No wonder he has some fancy schmancy LS1 powered ride - if I could stomach the immorality of screwing fellow TGO members this easily, I'd have the cash for it too.
He's a 4 hour ride - maybe it's time for a road trip. I'd spend the $105 in gas easily, but I'd get some satisfaction maybe. Maybe he was a great guy, but he's screwed me, and after 4 months of being understanding of his excuses, and playing games with him, I think I've earned my right to post negative feedback and warn fellow TGO members.
I'm a 41 year old married working stiff with 5 children - not some impatient 16 year old looking to flame anyone for no reason. Just because no one ever got screwed yet, doesn't mean that they won't now. Number of posts indicates character? From my discussions with him, he's way over his head financially, and should consider paying the piper BEFORE he dances to any more music!
Enough explaination?

Mr Dude, you know what you need to do.I've sold many, many items on this very website.I live in a rural area, but there is,indeed,a UPS Store on every corner these days.It takes less than 5 minutes on my average visit to ship any item(s).

I've done quite a lot of business with him and never had a problem, sure a few of the girls were a bit dehydrated from the long trip in the shipping container but that can be expected in the sex slave trade.
Excellent Seller++++1one would buy from MrDude again.

I too have always been satisfied with the services that MrDude_1 has provided me. He is very sensitive to my needs as a man as well as a consumer.
I hope your transaction has a happy ending as well.

I've made multiple purchases from Dude without any problems either.
During the past year I've purchased a drive shaft, distributor, a big engine, an alternator, flux capacitor, sub-frame connectors, and high-octane gasoline.
All items have arrived in pristine condition.

as far as the wiring diagrams, you can thank Trickster for that.. he scanned them years ago and made the files.. i just copied them online.
what i can do sitting here at my desk at work is diffrent.. i have time to do that here.. then what i can do outside of work, is a bit harder.
currently your box is in the cab of my truck. truck is at my house right now with a broken waterpump...
if i can, and i honestly donno if i can or not, i'll try to take an extended lunch, drive home, get it, and drive to the post office... but i wasnt even going to say that, because theres once more, a high chance of me not being able to get off for that long, and then it would be one more promice not done.

yea, im broke at the moment... but i can scrape together the $7 or whatever to ship your stuff.. if i had the cash, id pay you back right now, along with shipping it, just for the hassle.. but i dont. and i dont know if i can ship it today.. since this is public and a big issue now, i probly wont forget, and i'll most likely ship it tomarrow.. but the end result is i ****ed up.. i cant say much else besides admitting to it and saying sorry... my intent was to never steal the cash from you, even though it appears that way on your end.

He got his items finally but good g o d...
I may not have all the free time in the world, but I do go out of my way to ship something if someone has paid for it. If you do not feel like doing that well... you should expect people to say something about it.

Glad that things got worked out. I will not delete this thread, as it does show that Mr Dude messed up, admitted it, and then made things right.
